Eight years may not seem like a long time, but they are enough for a company to shape its identity, define its direction, and create lasting value.
For LYYM Beauty, the journey began with a clear vision: to bring Japan’s professional beauty education closer to the Vietnamese community. What started as a beauty academy has gradually evolved into a comprehensive beauty and education ecosystem, connecting knowledge, career opportunities, and professional growth across Japan and Vietnam.

A Journey of Growth
In 2018, LYYM Beauty Academy was established, laying the foundation for what would become the LYYM Beauty ecosystem. More than a vocational training academy, it was created to cultivate professional skills, Japanese working standards, and the spirit of Omotenashi among its students.
After several years of building that foundation, 2022 marked a major milestone. LYYM Beauty became the first and only academy recognized by the JAPANESE ESTHETICS Association (AJESTHE) in both Japan and Vietnam. This recognition reflects the academy’s commitment to Japanese educational standards while giving students access to internationally recognized training and broader career opportunities in the beauty industry.

In 2023, LYYM Beauty entered a new chapter through its partnership with NARIS Cosmetics. Beyond introducing high-quality Japanese skincare products into its ecosystem, the collaboration also enabled students to learn and practice with trusted professional products throughout their training.
The partnership also inspired LYYM Beauty to continuously refine its educational programs. In response to real-world learning needs, the AC Beauty Real Course was developed and quickly became one of the academy’s most popular programs, thanks to its practical curriculum, easy-to-apply knowledge, and immediate value in everyday skincare.

In 2024, CEO Ly My Dung became the first Vietnamese distributor in the 90-year history of NARIS Cosmetics. This milestone represented not only a personal achievement but also the trust that the Japanese brand placed in LYYM Beauty’s reputation and long-term vision.
In 2025, CEO Ly My Dung was appointed President of the Nippon Omotenashi Beauty Association (NOBA). This new role further strengthens LYYM Beauty’s mission to share the values of beauty education, professional development, and the spirit of Omotenashi with a broader community.

Over the past eight years, LYYM Beauty has organized more than 15 events focusing on beauty, Omotenashi, and personal development for the international community in Japan. The academy has also developed nearly 10 specialized training programs covering esthetics, makeup, nail art, and Omotenashi, meeting the increasingly diverse learning needs of its students.
More importantly, hundreds of students have gained not only professional knowledge but also greater confidence, career opportunities, and the skills needed to build successful careers in the beauty industry in both Japan and Vietnam.
Looking Ahead
As LYYM Beauty enters its ninth year, the company remains committed to building a comprehensive beauty ecosystem with education at its core.
Beyond technical training, LYYM Beauty aims to equip students with the professional mindset, service skills, and adaptability required to thrive in today’s beauty industry. At the same time, the academy will continue expanding its training programs and strengthening partnerships in both Japan and Vietnam to create even more opportunities for learning, employment, and long-term career development.
Looking ahead, LYYM Beauty will continue promoting the spirit of Omotenashi—the Japanese philosophy of sincere, thoughtful, and attentive service—not only within the beauty industry but also as a guiding principle for every student in building a meaningful career and delivering exceptional experiences to their clients.
